Michael McKnight joined the John William Pope Foundation’s Board of Directors in 2022. He is an attorney and shareholder with Ogletree Deakins where he provides counsel to and represents employers in all types of labor and employment matters. He has received several professional recognitions including Chambers USA Leading Lawyer, Best Lawyers in America (2022-present), and Business North Carolina Legal Elite (2015-present). Michael is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill (B.A., Public Policy Analysis and B.A., Journalism and Mass Communication) and Campbell University School of Law (J.D.). He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, North Carolina, the U.S. Court of Appeals (4th Circuit), and U.S. District Court (Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina).
