The annual Raleigh Children’s Business Fair, hosted by the Pope Foundation, will return to North Hills, rain or shine, on October 3, 2021, from 2:00-4:30 pm at Midtown Park. The fully outdoor event took a hiatus in 2020 due to Covid-19.

This year’s fair will feature 40 youth vendors showcasing and selling original items in a market-style setting. Previous fairs have featured one-of-a-kind holiday décor, jewelry, artwork, baked goods, and more. The public is invited to attend and shop and local community leaders will serve as judges to help award prizes based on presentation, customer service, and concept.

The Raleigh Children’s Business Fair is a part of a national program created by Acton Academy with the goal to offer a safe and fun entrepreneurial experience. First held as a one-time event in Austin, Texas, the program grew, and today fairs are held around the world and across North Carolina. This will be the fifth fair the Pope Foundation has hosted in North Hills. Participants and attendees are encouraged to follow all local and state Covid-19 guidelines. Hand sanitizing stations will be throughout the fair.
