The Clemson University Institute for the Study of Capitalism will host notable professor Alan Charles Kors for the spring John W. Pope Lecture entitled ‘The Betrayal of Liberty on America’s Campuses.’ The event will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at 4:30 p.m. The lecture is free and open to the public, but attendees are asked to pre-register (event details here).
Kors is a notable professor of history at the University of Pennsylvania and the co-founder of Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE). He was a 2005 National Endowment for the Humanities Medalist, recognized for his work as a distinguished historian of the Enlightenment.
