Program will award $200,000 to two nonprofits in early 2020
From June 15 – September 15, 2019, the John William Pope Foundation will accept applications for both the Joy W. Pope Memorial Grant in the Arts and the Joy W. Pope Memorial Grant in Human Services. Established in 2015, the program awards a $100,000 one-time grant for innovative projects in each category. Eligible applicants are nonprofits based in North Carolina serving residents in-state. Selected recipients will be granted the funds in January 2020. Applicants are limited to one project-specific proposal and details about the types of projects supported are on the grant’s webpage. The John William Pope Foundation is a private family grantmaker supporting nonprofit public policy research, education, human services, and the arts with the goal to improve the wellbeing of North Carolinians.
