What we fund

The John William Pope Foundation believes that economic freedom and individual liberty are cornerstones of a prosperous society. JWPF seeks to support organizations that will foster these ideals for the purpose of improving the quality of life for North Carolinians.  Professional efforts may include research, outreach, training, or litigation.  Relational efforts include restoring broken individuals and families, education, or rehabilitation.  It is important to explain how a donation to your organization will help the Pope Foundation fulfill this mission.

The guidelines will be given on the application page which can be accessed through the link above.  The Pope Foundation would like to see the following information submitted in the request:

2.  Mission and history

3.  Grant purpose

4.  Board of Directors

5.  501(c)3 IRS letter

6.  Current 990

7.  Most recent financial statements
